Ecole doctorale Normande de Chimie
(Normandy Doctoral School of Chemistry)

The Ecole Doctorale Normande de Chimie (EDNC), which was created in 2008, is home to molecular and macromolecular chemistry teams in Normandy. It is jointly accredited by the universities of Caen, Rouen and Le Havre, as well as by INSA in Rouen and by ENSICAEN. It is underpinned by the collective efforts of FR CNRS 3038 (Norman Institute of Molecular, Macromolecular and Medicinal Chemistry), and houses 7 research laboratories. The EDNC is home to some 130 doctoral students and can potentially house over 150 researchers and research teachers.

Ecole doctorale Normande de biologie intégrative, santé, environnement
(Normandy Doctoral School of Integrative Biology, Health and the Environment)

Normandy Doctoral School of Integrative Biology, Health and the Environment (Ed NBISE) draws upon the biology research units of the Universities of Caen, Rouen and Le Havre as well as the ESITPA, together with various Federated Research Structures such as IRIB (Institute of Biomedical Research and Innovation), SCALE (Applied Environmental Sciences), and others.

With over 460 researchers and research teaching staff working at 34 research units labelled by the CEA, CNRS, INSERM, INRA, IFREMER and the French Research Ministry, EdN BISE provides its doctoral students with a high-quality scientific environment, placing at their disposal cutting-edge equipment together with research platforms in imaging (Rouen, Caen) and proteomics (Rouen) labelled by IBiSA.
